I'm doing a series this year called Could Ya? Should Ya? Would Ya? Yea!
In a nutshell, it means once each month I'll be choosing to do something out of "my" ordinary - a card size I rarely use, a technique I want to try (or try again), an unusual fold, a card for an bizarre holiday... that sort of thing.
This card features fun products from Eyelet Outlet including the brand new Sloth brad, a Summer Tree brad, enamel heart, and three different washi tapes. The special "new" thing about the card is found on that green heart.
I actually saw a brief video on FB of using glycerin and ink mixed together for blending. Georgia said it made the blending so much more smooth. I decided to give it a try and it definitely went on smoothly. The downside was it didn't dry quickly enough to suit me - I guess I wanted instant gratification - so I took a wadded up paper towel and dabbed at it. I'm so glad I did... because by doing that I added a textured look to the green, which I loved.
I'm also going to try a new recipe (the cooking kind) on the days the series posts on my blog. Today we're going to try the Million Dollar Chicken Casserole recipe that I found on Pinterest.
